That Balcony, Spring Flowers and a bit of Malham

As warned, I extended one end of the balcony yesterday and this is how it looks:

 Really rather neat I think.
Today it is the turn of the right hand end.



































That now sun-baked embankment may still look rather bare but on close inspection the enormous rockery below it is beginning to blossom.   Aubretia is making itself especially at home.   Click any pic to enlarge:





Finally, I cannot resist posting this amazing photograph of Hill Top Farm, Malham taken by photographers' photographer Stephen Garnett and published on Twitter / Face this morning by the Yorkshire Dales National Park to cheer people up:

 By the end of today the penultimate panel of the Wendy House supportcladding was in place:



We're towards the bitter end of the panels now and today's 890mm to the right has a hole in it.  Tough.  I still like it.  It may be left as-is or be filled.  Tomorrow will see the corner squared off.  I am actually enjoying this!
