Somewhere

Sunday - a day of rest in a hectic but magnificently productive fortnight.  Architect Stuart Green popped by during the afternoon to discuss next week's finishing touches to the walls and the building in general - and to demolish some red wine, brewed to perfection in the Chateau Settle.

Then out along The Sidings with fidus carne Bess.   On the outward journey I had noted a rainbow.   Not the best rainbow ever but I took a picture of it:

Quite pathetic as rainbows go but the patch of sunlight on the hills caught my eye.   I am easily impressed by such things.

On our way back though I was met with this - a rainbow which seemed to spring from the water tower itself:

David Stubbs, local garage man and rally driver was putting in a Sunday shift along The Sidings having lost two days at a rally in Wales.   We both looked in amazement at the sight and wondered about its portents.  "Means that Water Tower's a money pit" he said with Yorkshire candour.  'appen
'ee's reet.  A glorious one though.

Internal walls and a good-enough-for-now roof of sorts in prospect.   Light at the end of a two year long tunnel.

Not to lose sight of the train flavour, here is a super video of Tornado yesterday climbing the final mile or so to the Roof of England southbound at Ais Gill Summit.

Eleven carriages and no assistance Tornado is nearing the top of the Long Drag with steam to spare.  Sound on, full screen, inhale and enjoy.
