The large buildings in the left foreground are the navvy hut and behind it Unit E - soon, hopefully, to be leased by the Friends of the Settle Carlisle Line.
The Settle-Carlisle journey today will be a winter wonderland.
Just awesome and makes us want to come back and visit Settle again, but at this time of year!
ReplyDeleteThe journey is spectacular just now with snow on the hills and alternating snow showers and brilliant sunlight.
DeleteThe picture was my first effort with a new camera that arrived over Christmas by sleigh. It reckons to be idiot-proof so I have great hopes for it.
