The underfloor heating takes shape

Heating engineer Chris battles with insulation . . .

. . . . to ensure the cat does not have a hotspot in the doorway to the untility room. The hot outflow pipes are insulated here, the cooler return pipes are not.

The underfloor heating pipes in the office / bedroom 2. This pattern, worthy of the Tate Modern, will be covered in concrete in two days time.

  2. Hi Dude,

Underfloor heating requires only low temperature warm water and is ideal for use with modern condensing boilers and heat pumps. Underfloor heating prevents dust mites living in carpets, as well as taking away them hard-to-clean spaces where dust gathers on radiators. Thank you...
