Pipes, stair treads and leadwork

This plumber's nightmare shows underfloor heating pipes in the area of the ulility room doorway. The cat will just love it.

A pretty pattern under the main bedroom floor.

The internal stairs are galvanised metal - with sandstone treads set in metal trays. Nick at Stan Jordan's stone yard in Settle made up this sample. It is medium coarse gritstone and should look superb if we go for it.

The new Polyroof of the annex now has a splendidly worked lead flashing set into the tower wall, by builder Carl Johnson.
